Changes to UQ staff websites coming in May and June

As part of the UQ Digital Transformation Program, the next phase of changes to UQ staff websites will be launching over May and June. You will notice these changes starting from the end of May. These changes are part of a larger project to consolidate content into the Current Staff website, and include migration of content from the Occupational Health and Safety and Property and Facilities websites. The changes will also include a new Campuses site.

These changes will simplify navigation and improve the experience for staff members accessing these sites.

Health, Safety and Wellness

Health, Safety and Wellness will be incorporated into Current Staff to make it easier to find what you need relating to your personal health and safety in the workplace. This content has been rewritten and redesigned to allow you to more easily find information on topics relating to occupational health and safety, health and wellbeing, security and personal safety, and mental health support.

Health, Safety and Wellness content will go live in Current Staff on Tuesday 29 May. The OH&S website will redirect from Wednesday 30 May.

Property and Facilities

Property and Facilities content for UQ staff will be also be incorporated into Current Staff. Information has been rewritten and included in the Facilities, Services and Maps section so you can navigate by topic to find information specific to facilities for staff.

Content for all UQ campus users has moved from the Property and Facilities website onto the new Campuses website.

The Campuses website will provide information for staff, students and the UQ community, relating to:

  • parking and transport, including public transport, cycling and car sharing
  • road and building works
  • accessibility around campus
  • campus maps and building floor plans
  • security and personal safety on campus
  • food and retail, parenting rooms, sporting venues, and other services and shops around campus
  • planning events, alcohol on campus, venues and room bookings

Changes to Property and Facilities content will go live on Wednesday 20 June. The Property and Facilities website will redirect to the new content from Thursday 21 June.

What do I need to do?

If you have links to Property and Facilities or Health, Safety and Wellness information in websites, intranets or induction information, you should check and update these links after the changes are completed on June 21. Temporary redirects from the old URLs to the new content will be set up to minimise any disruption.
