This facility provides a comprehensive method of capturing multimedia sources with voiceover capability to assist with a variety of purposes such as lecture capture, video tutorials, presentations and demonstrations or any kind of outcome that would benefit from an audio and video component.

The equipment in this studio is identical to what can be found in any of UQ’s Echo360 equipped Dual Capture venues including a Desktop Computer, Visualiser or Document Camera and facility for incorporating Laptop computer sources. There is also a video camera to assist with capturing a presenter’s image or physical demonstration and a high quality microphone for capturing voice and audio. Once these captures have been processed they are then stored as video and/or audio files on the Echo360 Server available for downloading online. Processed recordings can also be published directly to Blackboard if requested.
