Mail for iOS is the only mail application that allows you to change settings prior to the migration.

If you are using Mail for iOS please follow the below guide, all other mail applications will need to follow the reconfiguration guide after you have been migrated to 365.

 

Mail for iOS 11 pre-migration Instructions

iOS 11 guide

  1. Tap the 'Settings' app then tap 'Accounts & Passwords'
  2. Tap your UQ account then tap 'Account'
  3. Change the username to uqusername@uq.edu.au (e.g. uqjcitiz@uq.edu.au) and tap 'Done'.

    Mail for iOS 10 pre-migration Instructions

    1. Tap the 'Settings' app and then tap 'Mail'
    2. Tap 'Accounts'
    3. Tap your UQ account then tap 'Account'
    4. Change the username to uqusername@uq.edu.au (e.g. uqjcitiz@uq.edu.au) and tap 'Done'.

    ​Remove iOS configuration profile

    If you are unable to edit your account settings, you may have a configuration profile stored on your device. To remove the profile:

    1. Tap 'Settings'
    2. Tap 'General'
    3. Scroll to the bottom and tap 'Profiles'
    4. Select the profile you wish to remove and tap 'Delete Profile'
      If you have a passcode for your device, you will be prompted to enter it. 
    5. Tap 'Delete' to remove the profile.
