Backup your emails using Outlook 2013 or 2016.

On completion of this guide your emails will be stored in a .pst file, this is so you can import it into another mail client or a backup if needed.

1. Creating the Backup

  • At the top of your Outlook ribbon, click File.

  • Click Open & Export > Import/Export.

  • Choose Export to a file, then click Next.

  • Click Outlook Data File (.pst), then click Next.
