You can use the guides below to remove your email account from your email client.

When you remove your email account from your email client, you are not deleting emails from the account. A copy of your emails is still stored on the email server.

If you need to setup your account please follow the email account setup guide.

Outlook 2016 for Windows

Outlook 2016 for macOS

  1. In Outlook, click Tools
  2. Click Accounts
  3. Select your account and click the minus (-​) button
  4. Click Delete

Mail for macOS

Guide current for macOS Sierra 10.12.6

  1. Click the Apple menu
  2. Click System Preferences…
  3. Click Internet Accounts
  4. Select your UQ account
  5. Click the icon
  6. Click OK to confirm removal.

Mail for iOS

Guide is current for iOS 11.0.

  1. Tap Settings
  2. Tap Accounts & Passwords
  3. Select your UQ account
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Tap Delete Account again to confirm removal

Outlook for iOS

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Tap the menu button on the top-left of the screen
  3. Tap the settings cog icon on the bottom-left of the screen
  4. Select your UQ account
  5. Tap Delete Account

Outlook for Android

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Tap the settings cog icon on the top-right of the screen
  3. Select your UQ account
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Tap Delete

 

Gmail for Android

  1. Tap  Settings
  2. Tap Users & Accounts
  3. Select your UQ Account
  4. Tap Remove Account
  5. Tap Remove Account again to confirm removal
