We have detected you are using a machine at UQ and you do not currently have an active Internet Session. Any externally hosted content will not appear unless you have an active Internet session. Please create an Internet session by going to https://login.uq.edu.au

Before installing Office, please consider the following:

  • As a UQ student you can install Office on up to 5 machines.
  • Your computer does not need to always be connected to the internet but does need to ‘check in’ to validate the licences approximately every 30days.
  • Once a student discontinues study at UQ all office licenses will be removed.
  • One Drive and Lync/Skype services are not available at this stage.
  • Service is supplied ‘as-is' and support request/faults can be resolved by contacting AskUS (https://www.library.uq.edu.au/ask-it)
  • This is not an ITS managed service.

1. Installing Office 365

On the computer where Office is to be installed, login to student mail either by going direct https://outlook.office365.com or via my.UQ

Click on Office365 home

Click install under ‘Install Office on devices’

Then click the install button
