LinkedIn Learning is one of the largest software and skills training websites and is free for UQ students and staff

  5. Click Continue to The University of Queensland

Linking to LinkedIn

  1. If you do link your LinkedIn profile, you will also be prompted to log in using your LinkedIn account each time, after you log in via UQ.
  2. The first time you access LinkedIn Learning you can select the "Continue without connecting my LinkedIn account" button to activate your LinkedIn Learning account without connecting to a LinkedIn account, if you prefer.

Embedding videos

We recommend sharing links to videos rather than embedding. There is no way to embed LinkedIn Learning videos into an online learning platform that prompts the UQ Authenticate login.

Share option and Embed option

If you do want to use an embed option:

  1. In the LinkedIn Learning course, click the Share arrow
  2. Click </> Embed
  3. Copy the embed code and paste it into your course (e.g. as an iframe in Learn.UQ)
  4. Also add the Link URL option before the embed. If the embedded video won't load for students, ask them to click that link to prompt the UQ login option. Then they can come back to the embedded video in your course.
