Web PrISM FAQ

WebPrISM is a delegated web site that allows staff in Organisational Units to manage their local staff and/or student UQ Sign In accounts within the university.

What is the address of WebPrISM?

The website address is webprism.its.uq.edu.au.

What can I do in Web PrISM?

WebPrISM allows authorised users to:

  • search for UQ Sign In accounts
  • view email addresses
  • change passwords
  • create new UQ Sign In accounts
  • print new UQ Sign In account letters
  • perform other specialised functions

The above functions can be carried out on student and/or staff accounts of the university depending on the level of access required. Not all functions will be available for all people who access WebPrISM.

How do I use Web PrISM?

Web PrISM contains FAQs on its dashboard that describe how to carry out common functions within Web PrISM. If you have other questions regarding Web PrISM, please email the ITS Service Desk (help@its.uq.edu.au).

How do I get access to Web PrISM?

Access to Web PrISM can be granted by having your supervisor or local Web PrISM admin send an email to ITS Service Desk (help@its.uq.edu.au) specifying the type of access needed.

Your UQ sign in username and password are used to authenticate to Web PrISM.

How do I become a local Web PrISM Administrator?

Local Web PrISM administrators maintain the users of WebPrISM for their Org Unit. If you would like to become a local Web PrISM administrator, please fill in the Application for Web PrISM Administrator Access and have it signed by your Head of Org Unit or Authorised Delegate.

Please note that this form is not for Access to Web PrISM (please see How do I get access to Web PrISM above) but to maintain your Org Unit’s users for Web PrISM.
