When you become a student at the Institute of Continuing and TESOL Education (ICTE), you will automatically be given access to the ICTE student internet service.

Your account details will be provided to you by ICTE. The service includes:

  • 50GB download per month. Your download allowance is used whenever you access the internet at ICTE, or from locations on UQ campuses (including wifi). UQ websites and most Australian university websites (except Notre Dame and Bond) do not count against your download quota.
  • Purchasing additional data. You can purchase additional data by visiting the ITS team in the Prentice Centre, St Lucia campus.
  • Wifi access. There are three wifi networks on UQ campuses: UQ Wifi, Eduroam and UQ Visitor. Use your username and password to connect.
  • Internet Code of Practice. Students using the Internet at UQ, must obey the Acceptable Use of UQ ICT Resources Policy.
