Research computing

The Research Computing Centre (RCC) provides coordinated management and support of The University of Queensland’s sustained and substantial investment in eResearch.

The RCC helps UQ researchers across disciplines make the most of the University’s eResearch technologies, such as High Performance Computing (HPC), data storage, data management, visualisation, workflow and video conferencing.

The RCC leverages investment by government in initiatives such as the Queensland Cyber Infrastructure Foundation (QCIF), National eResearch Collaboration Tools and Resources (Nectar),  Research Data Services  (RDS), and the Australian National Data Service (ANDS). In collaboration with QCIF, the RCC manages QRIScloud, the Queensland node of the Australian Research Cloud.
