The Drupal security team have announced that there will be a critical security release for Drupal Core between 02:00 and 04:00 (localtime) on Thursday 26 April 2018:

Details havent been provided, however it looks like this may be a very serious vulnerability, that will see active exploitation soon after the release.

As such it will be important to apply updates as soon as possible after the release.

When flaps persisted after this morning's card replacement at Fortitude Valley, AARNet staff replaced cards at SPFD between 12:01pm and 1pm this afternoon. Since that replacement, we have seen no further errors or flaps on the link, and are hopeful that this has fixed the root cause of the recent flaps. AARNet will continue to monitor the link for the next few days before we can be certain that the fault has been corrected.

Storm damage has interrupted some traditional (Digital and analogue) services at the StLucia campus (Michie and IMB PABXs)
Technicians are onsite to investigate further.

During an email security gateway migration operation, an email routing configuration error caused email delivery issues for addresses at three UQ domains.

Email sent to @scmb.uq.edu.au was incorrectly rejected by the email security service from 9th February at 2:15PM until 13th February at 4:20PM.

Email sent to @science.uq.edu.au and @plpk.uq.edu.au was incorrectly rejected by the email security service on 13 February, between 10AM and 4:20PM.

In all cases, senders received a bounce message indicating they should attempt to send their email again later.

ITS apologises for any inconvenience caused, and has corrected its process for migrating these domains such that this incident will not occur again.
